Q1. Could you start by giving us a brief overview of your professional background, particularly focusing on your expertise in the industry?

I am a seasoned Textile Technologist with over four decades of leadership experience in the industrial fabric sector, with deep specialization in Nylon 6 Tire Cord Fabric manufacturing. A graduate in Textile Technology from the University of Calcutta (1985), I have built an illustrious career spanning some of India's leading production houses.

I began my professional journey with J.K. Synthetics Limited, where I developed strong technical expertise in Tire Cord manufacturing. Over the years, I have held key leadership positions, including Unit Head at Nirlon Ltd, Chief Manager (Manufacturing) at SRF Limited, and Vice President (Production) at Century Enka Limited, Bharuch, where I served for more than 14 years, driving large-scale manufacturing excellence.

Throughout my career, I have been at the forefront of plant operations, process optimization, quality systems, and strategic production leadership, contributing significantly to the growth and competitiveness of the industrial fabric business in India.
