Q1. Could you start by giving us a brief overview of your professional background, particularly focusing on your expertise in the industry?

I bring over two decades of experience within the Ugandan healthcare system. Following my medical degree from Makerere University, my career commenced with direct patient care. This frontline experience in different clinical settings gave me valuable insight into the healthcare challenges common in our country. My interest turned towards healthcare management, and I have been the Medical Director of Ntinda Hospital Ltd. for quite some time. In this position, I have been very much engaged in strategic planning, quality improvement projects, and coping with the intricacies of resource management.
